There are many ways you can request further supplies of your regular medications. We take requests in the following ways:
- Online. This is the quickest and safest method. Please see a member of the team to register for online services if you have not already done so.
- By Post. For those who are housebound or do not have access to a computer.
- In person at reception.
We are now arranging for all prescriptions to be sent electronically to a pharmacy of your choice to reduce the risk of infection via the paper prescriptions, delays to your medication (while waiting for the pharmacy to collect your script) and reduce the risk of misplacing your prescription. Please speak to your pharmacist or to team member at reception to arrange this. This can save you a lot of time as it means you can collect your items from your pharmacy without having to get your prescription from the surgery first.
Repeat prescription requests cannot be taken over the phone.
Please ensure you request your repeat prescriptions well in advance of your medication running out or if you know you may be away when that is likely to happen. Please allow at least two clear working days (excluding weekends) for your prescription to be available at your nominated chemist or ready for collection at the surgery.
Please be aware we no longer take paper precription requests at reception - these must be requested online or via the NHS App where possible.
